" First came the crisis: a frightening blue screen that stopped my computer on its tracks. For some time, I'd been telling myself I had to get an external hard drive to back up my data, but never seemed to find the time to do so. Being self-employed and facing deadlines that had to be met, I panicked. There were emails, work documents on that PC I needed to meet the deadlines. Gone. And then, even worse, I thought of the irreplaceable photos of my children, which I'd meant to print. Gone. And it was a weekend. I googled for computer repair companies and found Computer Star. Although it was Saturday morning, Rafiq came to my house and tried to fix it on the spot, but the problem was too severe. He took it with him, ran diagnostics, identified the drive was gone, and looked into what data could be retrieved. He kept me posted on the progress so I could make informed decisions at each step and associated costs for both the repairs and the data retrieval. He emailed me the list of the files he could retrieve so I could make sure that I was paying to retrieve the photos and work-related data I needed, rather than just the multitude of other files, which weren't important to me. By Monday, I had my computer back--and my data. Rafiq's professionalism, dedication to customer service and technical expertise saved the day! I highly recommend Computer Star. I'll never need its services for data retrieval as I'm now backing up fanatically, but should I have any other computer problems, I will definitely be using Computer Star. "

I called Computer Star, tech listened patiently and told me right away that he had a good idea of what the problem was. In a matter of one hour my laptop was running perfectly. He brought it back from the dead at a VERY reasonable price. Here, I feel its worth sharing that his competitors had a slightly lower hourly rate, BUT the rest of the necessities are first of all more expensive and secondly more inconvenient (He did EVERYTHING on site, whereas the competition said they would have to take the computer back to the "office" order parts etc. and I cannot stress the cost...the competitions quote was 50% HIGHER) thank you.
