"I just wanted to jot a quick note to thank you for the GPU repair. I powered up and ran the machine through its paces. I connected an external monitor using the USB port to DVI adapter and it worked wonderfully, both in duplicate and extended modes. I used my Duet driver to connect an iPad as an external monitor and that worked as it was supposed to as well. I upgraded the OS to Mojave and had no trouble with the upgrade.

"Computer Star has been one of my most important relationships for the last 6 years in which I have owned a MacBook Pro. I have always counted on this business to provide me with reliable and cost-effective services, but this last year has made computer star even more important to me. In late September I experienced a house fire, my entire music studio was located directly under the hot spot, and most everything was destroyed. The last and most important component of my studio was my MacBook Pro, which although removed to another area of the house, still suffered a great deal of smoke damage. Thank you very much for recovering all of the data from my iphone 5.
I was on vacation over the holiday down in the Dominican when my iphone died when it was charging overnight. Apple said that there was nothing they could do, and my data was gone, but I was lucky because my extended warrantee would cover a replacement phone. It had been 2 year since the last time I had backed up my phone and all my pictures were gone, including the video of my son being born, and my daughter taking her first steps and learning to talk and also all my business phone contacts. Someone suggested data recovery. I tried calling many companies and several of them told me that it was impossible with an iphone 5. It was lucky that I did not take no for an answer and found "Computer Star". The technician from Computer Star never said that it would be a problem, and he was able to recover all the data from my phone and he also was very helpful in reinstalling everything back onto my new phone.

"Being a computer professional for over 30 years, I knew exactly what the problem was when I heard my external hard drive sing the "whirrrr, click, click, click" sounds of death. I also knew that data recovery was going to require expensive disassembly and reassembly. What was on the disc was not critical and so the decision to recover the data was postponed. " First came the crisis: a frightening blue screen that stopped my computer on its tracks. For some time, I'd been telling myself I had to get an external hard drive to back up my data, but never seemed to find the time to do so. Being self-employed and facing deadlines that had to be met, I panicked. There were emails, work documents on that PC I needed to meet the deadlines. Gone.
